Every Chérie piece is made in 14K solid gold — never plated, never hollow, never vermeil. Real gold doesn't wear off, so we stand behind it for life.
Our promises
1. Lifetime Gold Authenticity Guarantee
Every piece is 14K solid gold (585), exactly as described. If a Chérie piece is ever found not to be 14K solid gold, we will refund the full purchase price — at any time, for life.
2. Certificate of Authenticity
Every order ships with a Chérie Certificate of Authenticity confirming the gold karat and, where applicable, the lab-grown diamonds in your piece. Keep it with your order confirmation — it makes any future warranty claim quick and easy.
3. Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty
We warrant every Chérie piece against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner. If a covered defect appears, we will repair it free of charge — or, if repair isn't possible, replace it with the same piece (or one of equal value if the design is no longer available).
What's covered
- Clasps, jump rings, or connectors that fail under normal wear
- Chain links or solder joints that break because of a manufacturing flaw
- Lab-grown diamonds that loosen or fall out because of a setting defect
- Porosity, cracks, or other flaws in the gold itself
- Lettering, engraving, or personalization that separates from the piece due to a manufacturing fault
What's not covered
- Normal wear and tear — fine scratches, dents, or a softened finish that develop as gold is worn every day
- Accidental damage, such as a chain snagged or pulled, a ring bent by impact, or crushed settings
- Stones lost or chipped through impact, knocks, or worn prongs
- Damage from chemicals (chlorine, cleaning products, perfume) or improper care and storage
- Loss, theft, or mysterious disappearance
- Pieces that have been resized, repaired, or altered by another jeweler
Gold is a naturally soft metal. With the care tips in our FAQ, your piece will stay beautiful for decades.
Free shipping on warranty repairs
For approved warranty claims, we send you a prepaid, insured shipping label and return the repaired or replacement piece to you free of charge.
How to make a claim
- Email hello@cheriegold.com with your order number, a short description of the issue, and clear photos (one of the whole piece and one close-up).
- We'll review your request within 2 business days and, if needed, send a prepaid label so we can inspect the piece.
- Once we confirm a covered defect, we repair or replace your piece and ship it back to you free.
Received a Chérie piece as a gift? You're covered too — just share the order number or the gift sender's name and email.
Outside the warranty
If the issue isn't covered — for example, accidental damage — we're still happy to help. We'll inspect your piece and send you a repair quote before any work begins.
This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory consumer rights.
